Stampin’ Up! Valentine Arrange A Wreath Card

Hi Stampers, I have been working on some Valentines Cards and got out the Arrange A Wreath set.  This is great for so many seasons and Valentines is one of those.  I used products from Sale- A- Bration, the Mini Catalog, and the Annual Catalog to make my card today, Enjoy.

Stampin’ Up! Arrange a Wreath:

The recipe:

Card Base: Rococo Rose 4-1/4 x 11, scored at 5-1/2

Mat: Whisper White 4 x 5-1/4

DSP: Oh So Ombre in Rococo Rose 3-7/8 x 5-1/8

The details:

Die cuts:

  • Die cut the following pieces from the Wreath Builder Die:
  • Berry Wreath: Rococo Rose Love You Always Foil Sheet
  • Leaf die: one in Rococo Rose and one in Whisper White
  • Love heart: one in Whisper White and one in Rococo Rose Foil
  • 2 small hearts in Rococo Rose Foil

Stamped images:

  • Stamp the following using the images from the Arrange A Wreath stamp set
  • Leaves: 3 from Granny Apple Green Ink
  • 2 hearts in Rococo Rose Foil
  • 3 flowers: one in Rococo Rose Ink and 2 in second generation stamping in Rococo Rose Ink
  • Die cut these images out using the dies from the Wreath Builder Dies

The sentiment:

  • Remove the tiny LOVE letters from each die cut hearts and save the Rococo Rose Foil letters
  • Take a small piece of Whisper White card stock and run a strip of  Stampin Seal across the paper strip
  • Place this tiny piece of paper underneath the white heart so the part with the Stampin Seal is underneath the LOVE letters
  • Take the LOVE letters in the Foil and insert them into the negative space on the white heart so the LOVE is now in Rococo Rose foil.  Trim off any extra of the white strip of paper if  it was bigger than the width of the heart

Putting the card together:

  • Attach the Oh So Ombre DSP to the Whisper White mat
  • Attach this panel to the front of the card with Dimensionals
  • Attach the Foil Berry wreath, followed by the White leaf wreath and lastly the Rococo Rose wreath
  • Attach the LOVE sentiment with Dimensionals to the right lower part of the wreath
  • Adhere the small flowers and leaves with Glue Dots
  • Finish by putting the the small foil and stamped hearts onto the front of the card

Finishing touches:

  • Place a large pearl in the center of each flower
  • Add some small Resin Hears from the Snail Mail Suite
  • Adhere a White bow from the Flowers for Every Season Combo Ribbon Pack and you are done
