Hi Stampers, Last week during our blog hop I shared a card using the Rose Wonder set from Stampin Up. Today I want to share another card made with the same set. The difference in the cards is the color of the paper. See how you can get a really different look just by changing up the paper color. The layout and design are just about the same as the post on Thursday. The only difference is the color of the paper. Isn’t it neat that cards can take on a different look by the paper color that you choose.
Stampin Up Rose Wonder:
Here is the card recipe:
Card Base: whisper white 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 scored at 4-1/4
Mat: Pool Party 5-1/4 x 4 Embossed with Decorative Dots EF
DSP: Birthday Bouquet 2 x 5-1/4
The Details:
The Leaves:
Using a piece of Mossy Meadow card stock and the larger Rose Garden thinlit, I cut the leaves from the die and adhered them to the front of the card.
The Rose:
I used my Big shot and cut out two of the small roses from the Rose Garden Thinlits Dies, one in whisper white and one in blushing bride card stock. I Then punched a blushing bride circle with my 2 inch circle punch and glued my white outline rose to the circle. This provided a base for the puzzle pieces of the rose to get glued to the surface. I sponged the edges of the the blushing bride rose pieces with watermelon wonder ink. Then like a puzzle, glued them in place. After all the pieces were glued down I attached the rose with some dimentionals. This gave the card a bit more depth and dimension.
The Tiny Flowers:
I punched some small flowers with the Itty Bitty Accent punch pack in blushing bride card stock and sponged the edges with watermelon wonder ink with my sponge daubers. Adding a tiny pearl to the center completes the flowers.

The Sentiment:
Using the ink to rubber technique and my markers I colored the sentiment with Pool Party and blushing bride and mossy meadow ink and stamped the sentiment from the Rose Wonder stamp set. The sentiment was cut using the die from the Rose Garden Thinlits. I added another little flower with a pearl to complete the card
Here is the card from last week so you can see the difference:
