Hi Stampers, A few posts ago I shared a card using the Cups and Kettles Framelits. I must say, I LOVE this set. I wanted to show you a few other cards using this darling set.
Stampin Up “Cups and Kettles” Tea Pot Card:
Here is the card recipe:
Card Base: Bermuda Bay, 4-1/4 x 11 scored at 5-1/2
Mat: Whisper White, 4-1/8 x 5-3/8 Embossed with the Chevron Embossing Folder
Banner: Have A Cuppa DSP 2 x 3-3/4 punched with the Triple Banner Punch
Strip: Have Cuppa DSP 1-1/4 x 5-3/8
Sentiment: Whisper White, 1-1/4 x 3 punched with the Triple Banner Punch
The Tea Pot:
The tea pot: The teapot was cut out using more of the Have a Cuppa DSP and the Cups and Kettles Framelits. After it was cut out I embossed it with the Decorative Dots embossing folder for added dimension and sponged the edges with Bermuda Bay ink and a sponge dauber. The Tea tag was stamped in black ink and also cut with the same framelit set as the tea pot. A flower was punched using the itty bitty accent punch, a bit of white bakers twine for the tea bag and it is complete. I adhered it with dimensionals for more pop.
More Details:
The sentiment: The first thing I did was tuck a small snip of doily onto the banner. The sentiment was stamped in black ink and adhered to the banner. I added a tea spoon from the Have a Cuppa embellishment kit and a Bermuda Bay 1/8 inch stitched ribbon bow. I added one more flower punched from the itty bitty accent punch, a few pearls and the card is complete.
