Stampin’ Up! Hello Harvest Card for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Hi stampers and card makers, today for our hop we have a theme challenge of “Thankful”.    I had previously used the Hello Harvest stamp set coloring in the large pumpkin.  For today’s card I used the pumpkin dies from the Rustic Pumpkin Dies for the focal point of the card.  This pumpkin has so much texture, which really make the piece pop just a bit more.  After you visit my page, please hop on over to our other creative team members blogs to see what they created for our “thankful” theme.

The theme:

Stampin’ Up! Hello Harvest Card:

The recipe:

Card base: Pumpkin Pie (a full sheet)

Triangle DSP: Rustic Harvest 4 x 5-1/8, cut at a diagonal

Circle: Basic White die cut with the largest Layering Circle Die

Circle mat: Pumpkin Pie die cut with the coordinating scallop die

The details:

  • Putting the full sheet of Pumpkin Pie card stock in your trimmer at a diagonal in the portrait orientation, cut the card stock diagonally (you will end up with two card bases)
  • Fold the flaps towards the center and you have your card base

Putting the card together:
