Fall Fest/Fun Fall Halloween Card

We each chose to do projects from the new Stampin’ Up! Holiday Catalog.  It is full of amazing stamps, coordinating framelits, embellishments and ideas.  This will make it so easy for you to create wonderful cards for the upcoming holiday season.  Why not get a jump-start and  visit our blog hop and gather ideas from a great group of stampers.  I decided to start with Halloween, as this is our first fall celebration.  Below is a little card decorated with a bunch of pumpkins using the “Fall Fest” polymer stamp set and “Fun Fall” matching framelits.  The matching little box  is  made with the new “Gift Box Punch Board” found on page 5 of the holiday catalog.

I had so much fun making this card and matching box, I decided to show you two more cards made the same way but using different paper.  It is amazing how different a card can look just by changing the paper.  The Motley Monster DSP makes it easy to coordinate because the colors are all figured out for you.

Each card started with all the same size card, here is the recipe for all three cards:

Card Base 4 1/4 by 11, cut and folded at 5 1/2.  I then cut a 2″ by 5 1/2 piece out of the front of the card using my fold line as a guide. So the card opens like this:

The rest of the card recipe is as follows:

Card Base: 4 1/4 by 11 scored at 5 1/2

Back panel: 5 1/4 by 4

front panel and inside front panel mat: 2 1/8 by 5 3/8

front panel and inside front panel DSP: 2 by 5 1/4

Pumpkin Details: Fall Fest Stamp set and Fun Fall Framelits.   The Pumpkins were stamped with Tangerine Tango and sponged on the edges with  Crushed Curry.  a little face was then stamped on with Memento Black in using the Fall Fest Stamp Set.

Leaves:  All leaves were stamped and or cut with the Fall Fest and Fun Fall framelits.

Leaf Detail:   Yellow Leaves were cut out with a piece of DSP from the Motley Monsters Paper Pack and sponged with touches of Cajun craze, Tangerine Tango, Old Olive and Bermuda Bay, (depending on which DSP was used)

Leaf Detail: Green leaves where stamped with Old Olive and sponged with Old Olive.

Leaf Detail: Black Leaves and Bermuda Bay leaves (sponged with Bermuda Bay)  are  just cut  using solid paper

Sentiment: Stamped in Black with the Frightful Wreath Stamp Set.

Black Bakers Twine and Bright Candy Dots along with some rhinestones and pearls finish the card.

 Blog Candy

I hope you liked my share today and I would love it if you would leave a comment, because there is some BLOG CANDY to win.  Each person that leaves a comment will be put in a drawing for……the little black box filled with?? of course candy.  What is blog candy without the candy?  I will also send you a Halloween card to match, how sweet is that?

If you need supplies to make these cards and need a demonstrator I would be happy to assist you.  Just visit my online store or you can email me and I would be happy to place the order for you.
