Stampin Up Bloomin Love & Bloomin Heart Card:
I am so excited to share a card today made with some new products out of the exciting spring catalog. You can view it here. This new thinlit die is amazing and cuts such an intricate laced heart. Great for so many occasions besides Valentines. It would make a beautiful birthday card or wedding and engagement too. Enjoy my share today.
Here is the card recipe:
Card base: Soft Suede cut at 4-1/4 x 11 scored at 5-1/2
Mat: Whisper White 4-1/8 x 5-3/8
Love Blossom DSP background 3-3/4 x 4-3/4
Top piece with cut out: whisper white 4 x 5-1/4
I cut out the heart from the Bloomin Hearts Thinlits die and embossed it using the softly falling embossing folder. I then put dimensionals on the back to raise this panel up off the DSP. By doing this, you get the dimension.
After I adhered that piece I inserted the die cut heart adhering with the glue from the fine tip pen.
The Details:
After all the panels and art piece were glued down I proceeded to make some little flowers from the Bloomin Love stamp set and cut them out with the Bloomin Hearts dies.
Large flower: Real Red (solid flower stamp)
small flowers: real red and soft suede (lined flower stamp)
Banner: soft suede
sentiment real red
More Details:
The details added: Blushing Bride satin ribbon from the Love Blossom Embellishment Kit
Rhinestones and red candy dots complete the card
The final bit of bling was putting some dazzling diamonds on the petals of the two soft suede flowers that form the center for the large red flowers.
