Stampin’ Up! Basket of Blooms Card for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Hi Stampers, today we have a color challenge and we could choose at least three colors from the new in-color palette.  My card today has Magenta Madness, Cinnamon Cider, Bumblebee and Just Jade. (I did sneak in a few more greens to make my greenery more interesting)  Basket of Blooms was my stamp set today and oh man, what a great set.  I have already made a few other cards and they were so fun.  The gardener in me was very happy creating flower pots full of blooms

The color challenge:

  • Stamp your sentiment at the bottom of your flower pot using the sentiment from Peaceful Moments with Tuxedo Memento Black Ink

  • Wrap a piece of Bumblebee Gingham Ribbon around the panel
  • Adhere this panel to the front of the card with Stampin Seal

  • Adhere your three flowers to make the arrangement in the flower pot with Dimensionals (one flower is sitting to the right of the flower pot)
  • Tuck in the extra leaves to the flowers in the flower pot and at the base near the flower that is outside the pot with glue dots

Finishing touches:

  • Add a Bumblebee Enamel dot to the center of each flower
