I just love Thursdays, it means it is time for another Happy Stampers Blog Hop. Today we had a color challenge using a beautiful combination of colors. We used Melon Mambo, Crushed Curry and Mint Macaroon. I hope you enjoy my share today.
Here is the color challenge for today:
Happy Stampers “A Nice Cuppa” Happy Stampers Blog Hop:
Here is the Card Recipe:
Card base: Mint Macaroon 4-1/4 x 11 scored at 5-1/2
Mat: Basic Black 4-1/8 x 5-3/8
Mat: Whisper White 4 x 5-1/4 Embossed with the Lovely Lace embossing folder
Banner: Have A Cuppa DSP 2 x 5-1/4 punched with the Triple Banner Punch
Sentiment: Whisper White 1 x 2-1/4 punched with the Triple Banner Punch
The Details:
The cups:
Bottom cup: I die cut this cup using a piece of DSP from the Have a nice cuppa paper and the Cups and Kettles Framelits and sponged the edges with melon mambo ink. I added an Mint Macaroon Lace bow and one of the spoons from the Have A Cuppa Embellishment and a few pearls scattered on the tea cup
Middle cup: Using the stamp from the A Nice Cuppa set I used Mint Macaroon ink and then die cut the cup using the Cups and Kettles Framelits. I sponged with edges with mint macaroon ink. A row of tiny rhinestones were added along the scalloped edge.
Top cup: Again using a piece of paper from the Have A Cuppa DSP and the Framelits from the Cups and Kettles to create the yellow cup. I also sponged the edged with crushed curry ink. A tea bag tag was inked and then cut out using the matching framelit from the Cups and Kettles framelits set. The flower was cut with a piece DSP from the Have a Cuppa paper with the itty bitty accent punch. To finish off the tea cups I added the heart flourish from the Kettles and Cups Framelits in Basic black.
More Details:
I cut a white doily and placed it on the yellow banner on the right edge. I added the sentiment to the white banner using the saying from the A Nice Cuppa stamp set.

Finishing touches:
I scattered some pearls and rhinestones, why, because my cards would not be my cards if I didn’t add my bling.
