Hi Stampers, Here is to another Thursday Blog Hop! Today my share for you was inspired by the sketch challenge for the week. I finally opened up my Lift me Up Bundle! I used the dies, stamp set and then the paper from Sale A Bration this week in my card. I hope you will try this card, making the hot air balloon was so fun and the color combinations are endless.
Here is the sketch:
Stampin’ Up! “Lift Me Up”:
Card Base: Night of Navy 4-1/4 x 11, scored at 5-1/2
Mat: Carried Away DSP from Sale-A-Bration
Square Mat: Night of Navy 3-5/8 x 3-5/8
Square DSP: Carried Away 3-1/2 x 3-1/2
- Adhere the DSP mat to the card base
- Adhere the square mat to the square DSP
- Wrap some white bakers twine 3/4 inch from the bottom of the card
- Attache the square mats to the front of the card at a slight angle
The Details:
- Die cut the balloon with Night of Navy
- Die cut the colors for the balloons with Watermelon Wonder, Peekaboo Peach, Whisper White and Mint Macaroon
- Glue these die cuts to the back of your balloon
- Attach to the front of the card with dimensionals
Die cut two Whisper White clouds and sponge the edges with Smokey Slate and attach to the front of the card
More Details:
- Cut a banner in Whisper White card stock 3/4 x 4-1/4 and cut the end with your triple banner punch
- Using the ink to rubber technique color in the sentiment with Night of Navy and Watermelon Wonder marker and stamp your image
- Attach to the front of the card with fast fuse adhesive
- Add a double whisper White Bakers Twine bow
The Inside:
- Attach a piece of Whisper White card stock to the inside 4 x 5-1/4
- Stamp some Night of Navy and Watermelon Wonder balloons in the right corner
