Hi Stampers, It is Thursday again so grab a cup of tea and settle in and join us for another Happy Stampers Blog Hop. Today we had a sketch challenge and so the stamp set for today’s hop was the “A Nice Cuppa” along with the wonderful framelits called “Cups and Kettles”. Talk about a versatile set. I am having a blast using it and will be sharing a few more cards that I created later on in the week. So lets get going…..
Here is the sketch for today hop:

Stampin Up “Cups and Kettles” joins “A Nice Cuppa”
Here is the card recipe:
Card Base: Bermuda Bay 4-1/4 x 11 scored at 5-1/2
Mat: Whisper White 4-1/8 x 5-3/8 Embossed with the Decorative Dots EF
Small Mat: Melon Mambo 2-3/4 x 3-3/4
DSP Mat: 2-5/8 x 3-5/8 Have A Cuppa DSP
Banner: 2 x 5-3/8 Have a Cuppa DSP
Doily cut in half
Bermuda Bay 1/8 inch stitched ribbon 6-1/2″ for the banner and 10″ for the bow
Before adhering the pieces to the card base, I glued all the layers down on the white mat first. The reason I did this is to hide the end of the ribbon underneath so the ends do not show. After all the layers were attached I glued them down to the card base.
The Tea Pot:
The tea pot was cut out using the Cups and Kettles Framelits using Have A Cuppa DSP. After it was cut out I ran it through my big shot using the Decorative dots EF for added dimension. Sponging the edges with Bermuda Bay ink helps make the tea pot pop. The tea tag was also cut using the Cups and Kettles Framelits and colored with my Melon Mambo Stampin Marker. A flower was punched using more of the DSP and the itty bitty punch pack with a pearl for the center. The tea post was adhered with dimentionals.
The Sentiment:
The Sentiment was stamped onto a piece of whisper white card stock cut at 1-1/4 x 2-1/2 and punched with the Triple Banner punch. It was inked with black ink using the stamp from Petite Pairs. A matching bow using the Bermuda Bay 1/8 stitched ribbon , and flower were added along with the little teapot from Have A Cuppa Embellishment Kit.
